Southern League West Title Goes to Lookouts Friday, September 10th , 1982 The Chattanooga Lookouts may not have ever won a Round 1, but you wouldn't have guessed it from looking inside their clubhouse today. The club celebrated its Southern League West championship like they've been hosting such festivities for a long time. "Our team may not have ever won a championship, but we know how to party," said starting pitcher Ravelo Manzanillo. "This is nothing compared to what you'll see if we can win the Round 1." The club's 92-52 record led to the franchise's 1st division crown. |
