Pioneers Mickey Hyde Wins NYPL Award Monday, June 11th , 1990 It was announced today that Elmira center fielder Mickey Hyde had received the New York-Pennsylvania League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .484 BA (15-for-31), 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. In his season totals, Hyde has 8 home runs, .338 BA, .381 OBP, 41 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 53 games. |
