Engle Cracks 5 Hits Friday, October 3rd , 1980 Reno Silver Sox third baseman Dave Engle went 5-for-5 today and paced Reno to a 11-0 victory over the San Jose Missions at Moana Stadium. "Well, that was fun," Engle said following the game. Dave Engle singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. In 1980 Engle has hit at a .346 clip with 189 hits, 11 home runs, 118 RBIs and has scored 107 times. |
