Royals Scott Bradley Wins SALL Award Monday, September 3rd , 1984 South Atlantic League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Scott Bradley of the Charleston Royals out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 24-year-old catcher boasted a .545 average with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Bradley went 18-for-33 for the week. For the season Bradley is batting .349 with 87 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 57 times and batted in 50. |
