Anderson Tosses 14-0 Shutout Tuesday, August 24th , 1982 Michael Anderson really had his stuff working at All Sports Stadium today. The Evansville Triplets hurler mystified the Oklahoma City 89ers and shut them out 14-0. Anderson allowed a total of 6 hits in the ballgame and struck out 8. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Anderson said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." This year Anderson has registered 7 wins and 4 losses in 12 starts with a 3.81 ERA while registering 67 strikeouts and 36 walks in 82.2 innings. |
