Rasmussen Whitewashes Indians Sunday, September 12th , 1982 The Tacoma Tigers rolled to an easy 14-0 win over the Spokane Indians at Fairgrounds Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Dennis Rasmussen, who shackled the Spokane Indians and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Rasmussen said in his postgame press conference. This season Rasmussen has fanned 141 in 184.2 innings and collected a 12-4 record with a 4.00 ERA. |
