Pazik Baffles Phoenix Batters Tuesday, September 11th , 1979 It was a dismal game for the Phoenix Giants with Mike Pazik on the hill. The Vancouver Canadians starter was in top form and made it a long day for Phoenix with a 5-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 1 hit and piled up 10 strikeouts to pick up the win in a rout. "No offense to the Giants but that was a cakewalk today," Pazik said to BNN reporters following the win. Over the season Pazik has thrown 186.1 innings and dished out 119 strikeouts with a 12-7 mark and a 3.43 ERA. |
