Athletics Davis Out of Action Wednesday, June 9th , 1982 Oakland Athletics catcher Chili Davis suffered an oblique strain during a recent game with the Chicago White Sox and will miss 2 weeks. Davis told BNN, "I hurt it stealing a base. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." This season Davis is batting .287 with 52 hits, 11 home runs, 30 RBIs, .316 OBP and has scored 33 runs. |
