Red-Hot Sadler Scorches SeaWolves
|
Ray Sadler found his groove in today's game versus the Erie SeaWolves and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-7 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Harrisburg Senators, as the club lost the game, 7-4.
The 22-year-old center fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."
"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Sadler said.
Ray Sadler tripled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 12th and grounded out in the 14th.
For the season Sadler is batting .279 with 69 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 31 times and batted in 34.
