Garciaparra Blasts Devil Rays, Orioles Take Game 3, 9-4
The Baltimore Orioles moved to within one game of the League Championship Series today, downing the visiting Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Oriole Park at Camden Yards by a score of 9-4. Orioles third baseman Nomar Garciaparra did some major damage. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The win gives the Orioles a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Justin Owens had a game-changing hit. The Orioles designated hitter slammed a 2-run single off Rick Aguilar, making the score 7-4, Baltimore.

"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Baltimore manager Andre Ivarsson told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Division Series, it's only going to get harder."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore.
