Crouch Voted September's Rookie Award Friday, October 1st , 2038 Youngster Devon Crouch emerged as the latest National League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Cincinnati deserved the honor, batting .370 with 6 home runs and 20 runs batted in. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Crouch enjoy the limelight. In 143 games this year, Crouch has posted a .282 average and put up these numbers: 26 home runs, 84 RBIs and 90 runs scored. |
