Mariners Topple Rangers with Late Rally
Seattle right fielder Steve Early helped his team beat the Texas Rangers, 9-5. Early, who finished 5th in the AL in RBI with 117 in 2035, went 3 for 4 for the Mariners. Texas is 1-1 after the loss.

Seattle used the clutch hitting of Ben Castillo to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Mariners the lead, 7-5. For the game, Castillo had 1 single and 2 doubles in 6 at-bats.
