Montreal's Brinson Bags AL Batting Award Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Lewis Brinson of the Montreal Expos swung a mean bat for the last few weeks and was acclaimed the American League Batter of the Month for September. The 29-year-old center fielder slapped out a .329 batting average, 6 home runs, 20 RBIs, 14 runs scored and a .400 on-base percentage. Brinson is hitting .272 so far this season with 65 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 101 hits including 18 home runs, 30 walks and .342 OBP. |
