Reno, Memphis Swap Players Wednesday, October 18th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Black Aces announced today the acquisition of 28-year old RF Justin Williams and 21-year old RHP Hermes Astudillo from the Memphis Redbirds in exchange for 28-year old C Mark Kolozsvary, 17-year old RHP Pedro Peralta, 23-year old C Collin Price, and 23-year old RHP Lucas Wepf. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Black Aces, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Over his career Kolozsvary is batting .240 with 9 home runs and 48 RBIs. In 150 games he has delivered 93 hits, scored 53 runs, stolen 0 bases and gotten on base at a .364 clip. Lifetime Williams is hitting .236 with 91 hits, 4 home runs, 49 runs scored and 39 RBIs. |
