Round 3 Goes the Distance, Barquisimeto Prevails Wednesday, October 18th , 2023 The Barquisimeto Music and Caracas Nationals put on a classic Round 3 that was in question until the final game. In the end, Barquisimeto won the deciding contest by a score of 4-1, to take the series 4-3. "It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Hugo Cardona, who earned series MVP honors for Barquisimeto. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now." For the series, Cardona hit .357 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Round 4 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 3 finishes.
