Worley Shuts Out Warsaw, 7-0 Monday, October 9th , 2023 Vance Worley was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the London Redcoats hurler tossed a 3-hit, complete game shutout against the Warsaw Phoenix. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Worley. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings." Worley walked 0 and struck out 11 in the 7-0 victory. This year Worley has a 12-6 record with a 1.28 ERA. View Boxscore |
