Stars Heading to Round 3 Thursday, July 6th , 2023 A classic and dramatic Round 2 has wrapped up, with the Santa Ana HS Stars outlasting the San Antonio HS Northmen to advance to the Round 3. Santa Ana HS won the final game by a score of 33-6 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Santa Ana HS right fielder Juan Pacheco, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Pacheco hit .433 with a .514 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 15 RBI and scored 10 runs. The Round 3 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
