Fontanela Crushes 4 Home Runs Friday, June 9th , 2023 It was an historic day at Las Vegas HS Grounds today, as Ismael Fontanela of the Oakland HS Emperors slammed 4 home runs in a 27-10 Oakland HS win over the Las Vegas HS Surge. "One homer is hard enough to hit," Fontanela said after the game. "4 in a game just never enters your mind." For the game, the Oakland HS left fielder posted these stats: 4 hits in 4 at-bats with 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Ismael Fontanela hit a solo-shot off Tomoyuki Asada in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off David Espinoza in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Necdet Hayreddîn in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Tanner Bale in the 6th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Fontanela is currently batting .352 with 33 home runs, 103 RBIs and 93 runs scored. He has 88 hits in 250 at-bats. |
