Hives Collects SL1 Pitching Award Saturday, July 1st , 2023 It was a prolific month of June for Tucson College reliever Zaire Hives. He put his best foot forward with no saves in no save opportunities. Numbers so good that the Mounties Conference 1 voted him the Pitcher of the Month. During the month, the Mounties bullpen specialist bagged 3 wins and no losses while compiling a 2.53 ERA. In 10.2 innings Zaire Hives gave up 8 base hits, fanned 0, and walked 7. The hitters he faced batted .200 against him. This year Hives has no saves, totaled 26.2 innings, allowed 37 base hits and fashioned a 11.81 ERA while racking up 25 strikeouts and a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. |
