Great Day for Seidel -- 5 Hits Saturday, May 20th , 2023 Irving College second baseman Hastings Seidel had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Dallas College Miners at Ballpark of Dallas College as the Tsunami picked up a 13-5 victory. "He was patient up there today," Irving College skipper Luis Bayona told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Seidel has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Hastings Seidel grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Sean Zuckerman in the 9th. Seidel is presently hitting at a .318 pace with 3 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 49 games and scored 29 times. |
