Reno Takes Round 1 Sunday, September 10th , 2023 The Reno Aces out-dueled and outgunned the Hickory Crawdads in the Round 1 and are on to the next round. Reno won the final game 6-2 at L.P. Frans Stadium and the series 4-1. Diego Castillo was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Round 1. He had a .389 average with a .421 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the Round 2," he said. The Round 2 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
