Bulls Heading to Round 2 Saturday, September 9th , 2023 With a 9-1 win to wrap up the series at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, the Durham Bulls have eliminated the Albuquerque Isotopes in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Durham controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Osleivis Basabe led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .438 batting average, along with a .526 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 5 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Round 2 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
