RailRiders Move on to Round 2 Saturday, September 9th , 2023 The Scranton WB RailRiders outclassed the Bowie Baysox in all facets of the game throughout the EL Round 1. The end result was a Scranton WB series sweep to advance to the Round 2, capped off by a 10-6 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said right fielder Spencer Jones, who hit .294 in the series. Jones's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .368 on-base percentage and had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Round 2 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
