Mississippi-Round Rock Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, August 16th , 2023 If there wasn't a history between Luke Waddell of Mississippi and Cole Winn of Round Rock, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Waddell said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this season Waddell is batting .292 with 15 home runs, 55 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 140 hits in 479 at-bats, 48 walks and a .368 OBP. Waddell has played in 126 games. Over the season Winn has thrown 96 innings and dished out 77 strikeouts with a 6-4 mark and a 5.44 ERA. |
