League Suspends Moran and Gil for Brawl Sunday, July 16th , 2023 After an intense confrontation, both the Rainiers Colin Moran and the Hot Rods Miguel Gil were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Tacoma-Bowling Green game. Colin Moran will miss 6 games, while Miguel Gil was suspended for 12 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Colin Moran commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year Moran has hit 19 home runs and posted a .282 batting average. This year Gil has chalked up a 7.35 ERA with no saves. In 19 relief appearances he has put up a 2-1 won-lost mark and struck out 50 batters in 45.1 innings. |
