Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Round Rock Hurler Sunday, October 22nd , 2023 The Round Rock Express have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Owen White, this year's Eastern League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. White compiled a 14-7 record in 30 starts, tallied 198 strikeouts in 183.2 innings and recorded a 3.23 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .249 batting average against him. He received 41 first place votes out of a possible 50. Bobby Miller of the Oklahoma City Dodgers finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Kris Bubic of the Omaha Storm Chasers finished third with 2 first place votes.
