Best Hurler Award Presented by BCJL Monday, October 9th , 2023 19-year-old Yun-qi Zong of the Gwangju Metro Stars put together a good year in 2023 for such a young player. Zong was named today as the winner of the Baseball Champions Jr. League Best Pitcher. Zong crafted an impressive 19-2 record and a 0.79 ERA. In 192.2 innings he allowed 105 hits, struck out 288, and walked 8. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10.
