The home crowd had a good time watching the San Antonio Texans and Richmond Rush get after it.

Richmond Rush starter Osvaldo Bido was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the San Antonio Texans, 5-3. Patrick Ruotolo earned the save, his 24th in 24 tries.

Had Donovan Solano not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Solano hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Rush.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Bido, "and then get after it again."

Richmond raised its record to 79-79 with the win.
