White Delivers Walk-Off Win for Flames
|
Tucson starter Ryan Garcia pitched well against the New York Americans at Flames Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-4. New York has now lost 4 straight.
Eli White was the walk-off hero for Tucson. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flames center fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," White said in his postgame press conference.
