Red Aces Improve to 94-53 with 3-1 Win
|
Las Vegas turned a good effort from starter Yonny Chirinos into a win over the Salt Lake City Lightning at Red Acesdome. The final score was 3-1. Matt Gage finished the game for Las Vegas and earned his 21st save. The Red Aces have an impressive 94-53 record.
Las Vegas grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ryan Noda delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Red Aces.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Las Vegas manager Yoka Bomb. "Our pregame was pretty good."
