The Portland Storm picked up a win at Storm Ballpark, knocking off the Calgary Red Devils, 2-0. Starting pitcher Chris Flexen was a big reason why. Adam Morgan closed it out for his 32nd save. The Storm saw their win-loss record go to 65-71. At the same time, the Red Devils fell to 68-67.

Pres Cavenaugh contributed to the Storm cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single, giving Portland the lead.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Flexen.
