Bay Sox Take Nail-Biter Over Americans
San Jose Bay Sox starter Conner Menez turned in a sterling performance against the New York Americans, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. San Jose reliever Ian Hamilton picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Hector Neris was tagged with the loss. San Jose has a 3-game win streak, while New York has lost 3 in a row.

San Jose won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Hector Neris on the mound for New York, designated hitter David Villar hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Bay Sox fans to their feet.
