Expos Lose By a Run at Richmond, 3-2
|
Richmond Rush starter Anthony DeSclafani pitched a strong game against the Montreal Expos at Richmond Stadium, leading the Rush to victory, 3-2. DeSclafani picked up the win for Richmond, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 8-8. The Rush now have a mark of 60-61.
Rowdey Jordan dealt the Expos a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Richmond leading 2-1, Jordan hit a 2-2 sinker for a run-scoring single.
