Eli Lingos kept the Portland Celtics hitters from doing any damage at Celtics Stadium today.

Portland could only muster 4 hits and take no walks against the left-handed Lingos, who controlled them throughout the game as Kelowna took the contest, 4-0. Lingos added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Lingos told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."

In 21 starts this season Lingos has compiled a 10-5 record and a 1.99 ERA.
