Ottawa Red Flash pitcher Noah Zavolas blanked the Syracuse Iron Horses 2-0 at Red Flash Park today, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing 3 walks and collecting 4 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.

"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Zavolas said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."

This year Zavolas has compiled a 9-8 record with a 2.91 ERA in 32 starts.
