Trejo Slams 6 Hits for San Fernando de Apure
San Fernando de Apure right fielder Cesar Trejo had a big day at Ponce Stadium today against the Ponce Powerhouse. The 26-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 6-for-7 and led the Suns to a 9-8 triumph over Ponce.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Trejo said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Cesar Trejo hit a solo-shot off Mario Doble in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mario Doble in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, walked in the 11th, singled in the 14th and hit an RBI single in the 15th.
