Freeman, Dodgers Sink Braves Again in Game 2
With first baseman Freddie Freeman leading the charge, the Los Angeles Dodgers got past the Atlanta Braves, 6-4, in extra innings in Game 2 of the Round 3 today. Freeman went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 at Truist Park as Los Angeles managed to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Miguel Vargas provided a timely hit. The Los Angeles third baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Dodgers on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We aren't quitting," Atlanta manager JGJ Double Dip #1 said. "Yeah, the odds are definitely in their favor, but they've got to earn it."

The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 20th , 2023 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
