Chihuahua Wins League Championship Series
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Chihuahua Chupacabras are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Mexicali Bats are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.

The Chupacabras took a 5-1 victory at Mexicali Grounds today, which gave Chihuahua a 4-2 series win.

With the win, Chihuahua will advance to play in the World Series.

"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Chupacabras second baseman Luis Castaneda, who was named series MVP.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
