5-Hit Blitz by Trujillo
The Stockholm Meatballs downed the Barcelona Giants, 9-8, at Oracle Park, in spite of the best efforts of Barcelona catcher Kedaur Trujillo. Trujillo lashed the ball all over the park in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with a 5-for-5 line -- and a loss.

"I don't remember a better day batting, but it sure is disappointing to lose the game," he said to BNN reporters in the postgame interview. "A win would have made the day much sweeter."

Asked if he would adjust his strategy next time the Meatballs face Trujillo, Stockholm manager Bobby Jenks said "absolutely not."

"Our strategy was to not give him good pitches to hit," he said. "We didn't do that, and he worked us over. Thankfully, we won anyway, and next time we'll pitch to him better."

Kedaur Trujillo hit a solo-shot off Max Hill in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 10th.

This year, Trujillo has socked 11 hits in 22 at-bats for a .500 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .520 pace and his totals also include 14 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
