Nationals Heading to World Series
The Caracas Nationals and San Fernando de Apure Suns put on a classic League Championship Series that was in question until the final game.

In the end, Caracas won the deciding contest by a score of 4-1, to take the series 4-3.

"It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Jesse Hodges, who earned series MVP honors for Caracas. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now."

For the series, Hodges hit .346 with a .433 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
