Toros Advance to World Series
By a score of 2-0, the La Romana Toros have sealed a victory in the League Championship Series over the Matanzas Crocodiles.

"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said left fielder Andy Sugilio of the Toros, who was named the series MVP. "The Crocodiles knew how to battle and gave us a good test."

The next test for La Romana will come in the World Series, after winning this series 4-2.

The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
