World Series Sweep to White Sox
The Chandler White Sox ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Halifax Chargers 8-1 to win the World Series.

Chandler won the series 4-0, capturing the title for the 1st time.

"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Chandler manager Bobby Williams. "It's a great feeling."

The champs finished the regular season 51-45 and claimed first place in the Division 1.

In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and catcher Sergio Gutierrez said the White Sox have "great fans and they deserve this."

"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
