Great Day for Gallegos -- 5 Hits
It seemed Mesa HS Keys left fielder Luis Gallegos could do no wrong, but it still didn't come out right.

The Keys fell against the Dallas HS Salukis by the score of 20-6. Gallegos did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Dallas HS prevailed at Mesa HS Stadium.

"I felt real good, but my best just wasn't enough," Gallegos said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."

Luis Gallegos walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
