Mariners Turn Back New York, 3-1

T-Mobile Park was the site of a tense game between the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners.
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees. Seattle won it, 3-1. Seattle starter Luis Castillo was in command. Seattle pitcher Taylor Dollard got the win. He's now 5-0. Wandy Peralta was tagged with the loss. Andres Munoz earned the save for Seattle, his 41st of the year.
Seattle took a 3-1 lead on Zach DeLoach's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which DeLoach hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Clay Holmes visibly frustrated.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Castillo said.
Seattle, at 71-73, sits in 10th place in the American Division.
