Joey Gallo had a good game, but he could not keep the Minnesota Twins from falling, 7-5, to the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. The Minnesota left fielder went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 in the loss. The win belongs to Huascar Brazoban in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jovani Moran took the loss for Minnesota. Tampa Bay is now 72-66, Minnesota 77-64.

The Rays were down to their final out when catcher Christian Bethancourt turned a first pitch changeup from Jovani Moran into a grand slam home run. The walk-off home run made the Tropicana Field crowd go wild.

"This place was rockin'," said Bethancourt.
