Martinez Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Tri-City
Jorge Alberto Martinez of the Laval Big Cats shut out the Tri-City Dust Devils 10-0 at Gesa Stadium today, holding them to 2 hits with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.

Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Tri-City skipper Jack Howell called the outing from Martinez "a jewel."

"The way Martinez was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said.
