Pinto Goes on Rampage Against Drive
René Pinto had an answer for everything the Greenville Drive threw at him today at Fluor Field at the West End. The Durham catcher went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Bulls on top, 16-3.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Pinto said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

René Pinto struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Maxwel Hernandez in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Trevin Michael in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

So far this season Pinto is hitting .295 with 19 home runs, 49 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 217 at-bats and a .367 OBP.
