Rockies-Tigers Trade Announced Monday, January 19th , 2026 Reports have surfaced that Colorado has agreed to send a 1st round draft pick to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for 29-year old LHP Tarik Skubal. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. The 29-year-old Skubal has a career record of 41-46 and has fanned 850 batters in 776 innings with a 3.68 ERA. |
