Biscuits Dominate, Sweep Round 1
It's a sweet sweep for the Montgomery Biscuits and they have won the Round 1. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos were not able to keep pace with the Biscuits and dropped the series in short order, losing 12-6 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Pensacola manager Danny Dorn.

It's now on to the Round 2 for Montgomery after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was third baseman Ben Pratt, who was named MVP. For the series, Pratt hit .462 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Montgomery Biscuits don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chattanooga Lookouts - Jackson Generals series. Jackson leads the series 2 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
