Rumble Ponies Beat Senators in Round 1
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Round 1 in a hard-fought series with the Harrisburg Senators.

It was a seesaw affair, but with a 3-2 victory at FNB Field, Binghamton lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship.

"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Luis Ruiz. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."

The champs finished the regular season 75-65 and claimed first place in the Eastern Division.

A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Binghamton in the days to come.
